"Fútbol de Primera" returns with a tribute program

Fútbol de Primera, one of the most iconic programs in the history of Argentine television, will have a tribute program that can be seen on Sunday, November 17 through El Gráfico's YouTube channel.

The special show produced by Torneos will be hosted by the legendary Enrique Macaya Márquez and the renowned streamers as Luquitas Rodriguez and Alfredo Montes de Oca. The tribute edition will have content from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, decades in which Fútbol de Primera was a classic for all Argentine fans of the most popular sport in the country.

It will recall the historic openings with the original art of the program and will include sections with the best goals and players of each decade. It will also revive gems, unforgettable classics, championship definitions, interviews that remained in memory and other events of our beloved Argentine soccer.

In addition to the archive material, the November 17 edition will feature the presence of well-known players who will be honored and will also include many of the journalists who transformed Fútbol de Primera into an iconic program.

“Fútbol de Primera was an idea by Carlos Ávila that marked a before and after in the way of doing sports television in Argentina.The way the matches were narrated, its artistic style, the historic openings, the production, the journalists, the guest stars, the use of the telebeam, among others, made the program a must-see for all football fans.In the special we seek to revive that essence,” said Leonardo De Pinto, Regional Director of Contents for Torneos.
