The trailer for "Cierren los ojos”, the unforgettable film about the Madrid final for all River fans, was presented

The premiere will be on December 9 at the Movistar Arena in an event that will feature the presence of players, live music and surprises for the public


“Cierren los ojos, la final eterna”, the Torneos Fiction production that relives the conquest of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup in Madrid and which will be presented at a special event that will bring together millionaire fans at the Movistar Arena, already has its official trailer.

The trailer covers the emblematic moments of the final, with exclusive testimonies from the protagonists: Marcelo Gallardo, Gonzalo “Pity” Martínez, Juan Fernando Quintero, Leonardo Ponzio, Ignacio Scocco, Exequiel Palacios, Lucas Pratto and Rodolfo D'Onofrio.

“We wanted to face Boca to go down in the history of the club,” says Ignacio Scocco in the trailer. “It seemed like we were in Argentina, the joy that was in the streets of Madrid was incredible,” adds Exequiel Palacios.

“Cierren los ojos” will be presented in an unmissable event designed for River fans to experience an unparalleled day, remembering one of the most glorious moments in the club's history. The participation of players who achieved the feat in Madrid, live music and historical elements from the River museum, among other surprises, will transform the Movistar Arena into a unique place for Millionaire fans.

The documentary traces the path to the Cup with the voices and testimonies of the team members and with the most vibrant moments of the match played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

“Cierren los ojos, la final eterna” is a production of Torneos Ficción, directed and scripted by Gabriel Starna – Ignacio Ragone – Silvina Dell'Occhio. It was carried out between March and November 2023 in various locations such as the Monumental Stadium, River Camp, hotels, clubs, as well as interviews in Europe with players who currently reside there.
